The extended blade is a blade weapon mod for the Ripper in Fallout 4.

The extended blade improves the damage of the Ripper and allows it to inflict bleeding damage on opponents. The extended blade is also the final modification option for the Ripper, requiring rank three of Blacksmith as well as a multitude of materials to create.
