An explosives crate is a container in Fallout: New Vegas. They can be found in many places throughout the Mojave Wasteland.
Characteristics[]
It is exactly the same size and shape as a normal wooden crate, as well as having the same xxx symbol. The loot inside is completely random but usually consists of some form of dynamite and other random items. This container can be picked up and moved by the player character, which provides a useful means of carrying large amounts of items without becoming overencumbered. There are two variants of the normal wooden crate that also contain explosives: one for C-4 and another for frag grenades.
