The European Civil War was a series of military conflicts between former member states of the European Commonwealth, beginning in 2060.
Background
After the European Commonwealth-Middle East War came to an end in 2060 after the Middle East's oil field dried up, removing any goal in the conflict, the European Commonwealth began to dissolve into quarreling nation states fighting over the last remaining resources on Earth.

The European Civil War is mentioned in the original Fallout and the Fallout Bible. In addition, the war and the anarchy resulting from it would be the focus of the hypothetical game Fallout: Resource Wars.
