Eric Fenstermaker is a developer who worked at Obsidian Entertainment on Fallout: New Vegas as an area designer and writer.

Work on the Fallout series[]

Fenstermaker's contributions to Fallout: New Vegas included level design, dialogue writing, and scripting. Fenstermaker worked on the introduction of the game with Doc Mitchell,[1] including the different levels of the statistics on the Vit-o-matic Vigor Tester,[2] as well as other areas of Goodsprings.[3] He developed all content and concepts for Vault 11,[4][5] Beyond the Beef,[6] writing dialogue for Craig Boone and implementing his companion quests,[7] and Veronica Santangelo.[3] He wrote much of the content for Novac,[3] including the dialogue for No-bark Noonan,[8] and possibly Cliff Briscoe[9] and Ada Straus,[10] as well as characters at HELIOS One,[3] including Fantastic.[11]

Fenstermaker was also an area designer on Camp McCarran alongside Robert Lee.[12] Fenstermaker handled the larger quests (including I Put a Spell on You) and wrote the characters for much of the NCR leadership at the camp,[13] as well as Silus[14] and Ronald Curtis.[3] Fenstermaker also wrote all of Mr. New Vegas' radio lines[15] and was responsible for the White Gloves at the Ultra-Luxe.[3] Fenstermaker or Roger Chang may have been responsible for the First Recon's motto.[16]
