The enhanced Gauss rifle is a weapon in Fallout Shelter.
Background[]
Designed as a type of projectile accelerator, a Gauss rifle uses an magnetic momentum-transfer system to accelerate projectiles to extreme velocities capable of impacting a target from moderate-to-long ranges. The weapon class was named in honor of the German mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss, the namesake of numerous technologies named after his work in magnetism.
Characteristics[]
The enhanced Gauss rifle is a modified coil gun that fires shards of metal at high speeds using magnetic coils that are powered by microfusion cells. Dealing a minimum of 16 damage per attack, it has the highest damage output for a projectile-based rifle in the game.
