Energy Resistance is a derived statistic in Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76 that allows a character to resist damage from Energy Weapons.

Fallout: New Vegas

With 100 Survival, and the helmet below the 85% cap can be achieved.

Temporarily increasing Energy Resistance

Fallout 4

Permanently increasing Energy Resistance

  • Refractor perk grants +10 Energy Resistance per level, up to a maximum of +50.
  • Shield Harmonics perk grants +20 Energy Resistance.

Temporarily increasing Energy Resistance

Fallout 76

Permanently increasing Energy Resistance

  • Refractor perk grants +5 Energy Resistance per tier, up to a maximum of +20.
  • Bodyguards increases Energy Resistance per each teammate.
  • Moving Target perk grants Energy Resistance while sprinting without power armor.
