Detailed walkthrough[]
A woman named Amy Kerry was monitoring the environment for changes brought on by the Scorched. To continue her work, the player can retrieve holotapes from environmental sensors and then upload the data to her terminal, which contains a program to analyze the data. The quest needs to be completed once in order for it to become a daily quest.
In order to start the quest for the first time, find and listen to the holotape Message for Jeff at Tygart water treatment. It can be found inside Amy's trailer on the northern side, on the ground directly to the left of her terminal. In order to learn about her current whereabouts, access the entry Date Night? in Messages on her terminal. Watch out for the Liberators mingling around the treatment plant.
Proceed to the Cow Spots Creamery, find Amy's corpse on the floor and retrieve her note, which contains a password for her terminal, while dealing with any feral ghouls lingering around the creamery. Return to Amy's trailer at the water treatment plant, and access the entry Environmental Monitoring Program on her terminal, doing so for the first time grants 50 XP.
The next part involves retrieving three holotapes from sensor stations in radiant locations in the Forest region. The holotapes contain water data, soil data, and air data. Once all three are obtained, return to Amy's terminal at the water treatment plant and upload each individual holotape, then select Begin Data Processing on the terminal. Be advised that the locations may change if the player leaves the server they are on and switches to another one while the quest is active.
This completes the quest, and grants either 450 XP if completing it for the first time, or 400 XP if completing the daily quest on other occasions. Further rewards are 60 caps, three legendary scrip, three antiseptic, and random items, with a small chance for a legendary weapon or armor.
Note that for subsequent completions of the daily quest, it is only required to retrieve the three holotapes, then upload them at Amy's terminal again.
