Durability is a third star armor, power armor and weapon legendary mod in Fallout 76, introduced in the Milepost Zero update.
Effects[]
The effect provides +50 maximum durability to the item it is on. Since all gear can be repaired up to 200%, the total received durability is equal to 100.
Tips & Tricks[]
To get the maximum +100 durability bonus, it's best to repair an item to 200% with Fix It Good or Weapon Artisan perks. Alternatively, an improved repair kit can be used to repair an item up to 150%.
To make the item last longer, Luck perks used for the item repair can be used, such as Lucky Break or Luck of the Draw.
Armor and weapons can even further benefit from the durability piece by extending durability with perks, such as: Gunsmith, Licensed Plumber, Makeshift Warrior, Power Patcher, Stable Tools or White Knight.
Crafting[]
Locations[]
- Can drop as a random effect on any legendary armor, power armor or weapon.
- Mod boxes have a 1.5% chance to be received from scrapping a Durability legendary item.
- Can be crafted at a tinker's workbench once learned.
- Crafting has a 1% chance to be unlocked from scrapping a Durability legendary item.
- Can be traded.
Notes[]
- This mod can be applied to gear with armor workbench, power armor station or weapons workbench.
- The item from which the mod was learned does not matter. The learned mod can be applied to any armor, power armor or weapon.
- Update Changes:
- Update 56 added ability for armor pieces to stack. Reduced the bonus from +100% durability to flat +50 durability. Durability armor piece before Update 56 applied the bonus to all equipped pieces. After the Update 56, the effect applies only to the piece it is on.
