Doctor Duff is a scientist living in the Science! Center of Diamond City in 2287.
Background
It is heavily implied she is in a relationship with Professor Scara[verification overdue]. In contrast to her partner's serious nature, Duff is very light-hearted and eager to teach and conduct experiments.

Quests
- Liberty Reprimed: When the Sole Survivor travels to the Science! Center in search of Scara, she will request that they look for her at the General Atomics Galleria, worried that something might have happened to her.
- Fly Fishing: After speaking to her about a free biology lesson, she will give the unmarked quest to find a bloatfly gland as part of a field trip. If you pass a speech check, you may ask her for money as compensation for doing this side-quest.
Effects of player's actions
Duff will become depressed if Scara is recruited away from the Science! Center by the Sole Survivor for the Brotherhood of Steel during the quest Liberty Reprimed.
