Drumlin Diner is a building in the Commonwealth in Fallout 4.
Upon approaching it, the player character overhears a dispute going down between Wolfgang - a jet pusher, and Trudy - the owner of the diner, who has converted it into a shop. Apparently Trudy's son Patrick is hooked on Wolfgang's Jet, but can't pay. Wolfgang expects Trudy to pay for her son's Jet addiction.
Layout
A small and oval-shaped diner with a small carpark around the exterior. The diner is small and many of the tables are broken or missing. There's a safe inset into the floor in the area to the right upon entering the diner via the front door.
Inhabitants
- Trudy
- Trashcan Carla (Will start going around to settlements once you talk to her)
- Patrick
- Wolfgang
- Simone
Notable loot
- General Chao's Revenge, a unique Chinese officer sword sold by Trudy.
- Power armor, an incomplete set (left leg, right leg, torso), south of the Diner in a wrecked railroad wagon locked by an advanced terminal.
- Explosives Box in the nearby Bunker (see Notes Section)
Notes
- If Trudy is defended, Wolfgang has to be intimidated into leaving or killed and she will become an all-purpose merchant. If siding with Wolfgang, one can either kill her and he will become a merchant, or talk to her and either persuade or threaten her into surrendering the money. If successfully persuading or threatening her, both will become traders for future use.
- If Wolfgang dies, his corpse will become a spawning point for three Raiders.
- Some way directly south of the Diner is a dilapidated house, with a dog house in the back yard. This house supports random encounters.
- When standing next to the orange car in front of this house, look to the West and you will see a Bunker with an American Flag. Inside this bunker is an Eyebot that cannot be interacted with, as well as a locked door that can be opened using the attached terminal (Novice). Inside the locked area is a broken Mister Gutsy and an Explosives Box, both of which contain some useful items, and a bed.
- There are several "Drumlin Diners" as indicated by signs and billboards, apparently it's a chain or franchise. However, this marked location is the only one of note.
Appearances
Drumlin Diner appears only in Fallout 4.
