The drained flamer fuel is a miscellaneous item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics
A drained flamer fuel tank is the byproduct of a spent flamer fuel tank. They are flamer tanks with not enough fuel to use for a shot from a flamer, but enough that if the player gathers enough of them, the remaining fuel can be pooled together to make full, usable tanks. When dropped, it has the appearance of an energy cell.
Recipes
Recycling; flamer fuel tanks - With a Science skill of 15, a player can pool the leftover fuel from 4 drained flamer fuel tanks to make a full flamer fuel tank.
- Requires: Science 15, 4 drained flamer fuel tanks
- Creates: 1 flamer fuel tank
Efficient Recycling; flamer fuel tanks - With a Science skill of 40 and the Vigilant Recycler perk, the player can wring a little extra fuel out of each drained tank, reducing the number of drained flamer fuel tanks needed to make full ones.
- Requires: Science 40; Vigilant Recycler; 3 drained flamer fuel tanks
- Creates: 1 flamer fuel tank

- Drained flamer fuel tanks can be taken from the dead bodies of enemies wielding a Flare gun, flamer, incinerator or a heavy incinerator when they are killed.
