| The following is based on Fallout: New Vegas cut content. |
The double-barrel shotgun is a cut weapon in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
Double barrel shotgun expanded
Unlike the similar sawed-off shotgun, this firearm has both its barrel and stock intact while being quite rusty and still requiring a metal strap to keep the forearm and barrels together.
The double-barrel shotgun, a leftover from the Fallout 3 add-on Point Lookout, was intended to appear in Fallout: New Vegas before being cut from the final game. Its form ID was deleted, but its assets can still be found in the game files.
Variants[]
- Sawed-off shotgun - a variant found throughout the Mojave Wasteland.
- Big Boomer - a unique variant of the sawed-off shotgun, owned by Old Lady Gibson at the Gibson scrap yard near Novac.
Notes[]
- During the reload animation, the spent shells in both chambers vanish after the breech is opened before the new rounds are inserted.
