Close-range death dealing... x2. Brutal.— In-game description

The double-barrel combat shotgun is a weapon that appears in Fallout Shelter.

Background[edit | edit source]

This section is transcluded from Combat shotgun. To change it, please edit the transcluded page.

A combat shotgun is a shotgun that is intended for use in an offensive role, typically by a military force. The earliest shotguns specifically designed for combat were the trench guns or trench shotguns issued in World War I.[citation needed] While limited in range, the multiple projectiles typically used in a shotgun shell provide increased hit probability unmatched by other small arms.[citation needed] Most combat shotguns are fully automatic and have a drum magazine, giving them a definite advantage over break-action double-barrel shotguns.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

The double-barrel combat shotgun is a fully-automatic drum magazine loading shotgun modified with two separate barrels featured in Fallout Shelter. Dealing a minimum of 13 damage per attack, it has the highest damage output for a shotgun in the game.
