Don't Poke at the Bear! [1] unmarked quest in Fallout: New Vegas
Walkthrough [ ] If the Courier has not allied with the NCR or done anything to decrease reputation with the NCR faction, they may be randomly met by three NCR Rangers. The Rangers give the Courier three days to begin an alliance or improve reputation with the NCR. If they do not improve reputation after three days, the quest fails and Don't Tread on the Bear! will begin.
Notes [ ] Being vilified by the NCR and then killing the ranger that gives three days to live automatically gets the brand as a terrorist.
The number of Rangers may vary - in one instance, the warning message may be delivered by less than five rangers: one in power armor, two with patrol armor, and one veteran ranger.
