Dogmeat is a German Shepherd in the Wasteland and excels at combat and tracking. Before finding a master, he once helped Nick Valentine in his investigations a well as assisted in the Minutemen's retreat to Concord. When Preston was trapped, he was sent to the Red Rocket truck stop to seek help.
