Dixon's whiskey is a consumable item in Fallout: New Vegas. It is sold exclusively by Dixon.

Dixon's whiskey is a low-quality variant of whiskey, sold exclusively by Freeside merchant Dixon. Compared to normal whiskey, it has double the penalty to Intelligence (-2) and lacks any Charisma bonus, but its most important (and hidden) difference is its increased addiction rate; Dixon's whiskey causes alcohol addiction at a rate of 50%, compared to whiskey's 10% chance of addiction.

Dixon's whiskey is affected by the player's Survival skill, both its positive and negative effects. At higher skill levels this is particularly noteworthy, due to the increased penalty to Intelligence: at 100 Survival, Dixon's whiskey will provide a -6 penalty to Intelligence. This could be useful when the player wants to pass a low-intelligence check like the Boomers patient treatment or getting Arcade Gannon to follow the Courier without positive Followers reputation or the required Speech level.
