"Dixie Doodle" is a jazz instrumental song written and performed by Harry Gold. It is used in the trailer for the Ghoul Within update for Fallout 76.
The song was included as part of Palais De Dance / Dear Old Dixieland (label code BRS1 or BV302), a 1978 vinyl release of jazz and swing-style library music under license to Bruton Music (later acquired by the Zomba Group and the Universal Music Publishing Group).[1] "Dixie Doodle" was also included on other Bruton Music releases, such as History Of Jazz 3: 1940s-1960s (BRS17) in 1995.[2] Palais De Dance / Dear Old Dixieland, on which "Dixie Doodle" is featured, was reissued in digital format under the current owners of the license, Universal Music Publishing Group, in April 2024 for use in movies/TV/games.[3]
