Demetre Romara is the head boss of the Crimson Caravan. Besides managing the company's operations and assets, he is in charge of hiring potential caravan guards. He defers anyone looking for work in a caravan to his daughter Keri.
Characteristics[]
Demetre is a very friendly and rhapsodic fellow, emphasizing the "glory" of action and adventure with effusive and grandiloquent language meant to exhort potential fighters into working for him as a caravan guard, even those who don't look physically impressive. His eccentric demeanor and the extremely risky routes his caravans travel through has earned the Crimson Caravan a reputation of being 'crazy'; a far cry from their reputation as one of the most respected and influential merchant houses over 120 years later.
However, his outgoing attitude appears to be little more than a bombastic front for his business, as he shows no interest in being friends with anyone who clearly won't work for his business, judging by his confused and borderline rude reaction to the Vault Dweller merely stopping in to say hello. He also resorts to immature, emotionally driven, over-the-top, and transparently hostile death threats to anyone who insults his beloved daughter, Keri–who he hopes will completely take over the business soon while he retires peacefully.

- Guard the caravans: Demetre Romara offers a caravan guard job to the Vault Dweller if they ask and redirects them to Keri for more information about scheduled caravan routes.
Other interactions[]
- After returning from a successful caravan run. the Vault Dweller may insult Keri's looks. Demetre will threaten to kill the Vault Dweller and will turn hostile along with his guards unless the player passes a Speech check, in which case Demetre will let them go but will continue to make egregious death threats in text bubbles; he will never act on these threats, but the possibility of working for the Crimson Caravan will be forever lost.
- If spoken to while waiting for a caravan run, he will give the Vault Dweller a frag grenade.
