Dead woman's note is a paper note in Fallout 76, introduced in the Skyline Valley update.

The note can be found on the corpse of Jewel in the bathrooms outside of the Shenandoah Visitor Center.

Stupid bugs chased me into a bathroom in the middle of the night. If I had any ammo left I'd pick them off, but looks like I'll need to rest till morning then make a break for it when I've regained my strength.
Not far now, just a bit more south and I'll see my love again...
This time I'm not taking no for an answer, even if I have knock him out and get Wes or Murry to drag his ass to the new camp up north. The Trading Post was a good idea till that that explosion and the weather going to shit striking lightning all over the place. He needs to let it go, we can rebuild, what's important is us, not where we trade.
Quieted down a bit out there now, maybe the bugs have wondered off. All the same, I'll stay till morning.
Just need to catch some shut eye, then I'll be ready to convince James to leave this hellhole.
