The Daisycutter is a unique weapon in Fallout 76.

The Daisycutter is a Fat Man equipped with the experimental MIRV mod and usually starts with standard paint. Its legendary effect reduces its weight by 90%.

If the Fat Man has the MIRV launcher mod, the Fat Man needs to be aimed such that the trajectory of the mini nuke reaches apogee above the target, as opposed to aiming such that the mini nuke hits the target or adjacent ground. When a Multiple Independent Reentry Vehicle mini nuke reaches apogee, it stops and splits into four projectiles. These projectiles fall straight down, detonating if they don't hit anything after falling 100 feet or 30 meters.

Always fire a MIRV-modded Fat Man with at least a few degrees of upward angle. If you fire a MIRV-modded Fat Man while the weapon is aimed horizontally or down, the mini nuke will split immediately after leaving the weapon, fall at your feet, and detonate.

This weapon is given as a reward after completing the quest An Organic Solution. Like all other quest rewards, the item scales depending on what level the player is when it is awarded.
