Cryologist, formerly Science Master, is an Intelligence-based perk in Fallout 76, renamed and redesigned in the Gone Fission update.

Before update 60, the perk was named "Science Master." It used to have 2 ranks that provided +5%/+10% damage to non-heavy energy weapons. Rank 1 of this perk was required for crafting rank 3 energy weapons mods and crafting energy weapons with rank 2 of this perk gave them more durability. With this rework the perk is no longer needed to craft any mods and the durability bonus is no longer present.
