- One can also find them sold as ammo from weapon merchants, such as Arturo Rodriguez in Diamond City, KL-E-0 in Goodneighbor, Alexis Combes in Vault 81, and Cricket, a traveling merchant.
- Fire brigadier Protectrons drop cryo cells on death.
