- Created at an Ammo Converter.
- Five bolts can be found inside the Boozin Brahmin at the Middle Mountain Pitstop, on and around a dartboard.
- Has a chance of being recovered from the body of a downed enemy.

With the Ammosmith perk or Ammo Factory legendary perk, the crafted amount of bolts increase incrementally, coinciding with the perk's added percentages, crafting more bolts for the same amount of materials.
