The cratered hamlet is an unmarked location in the Capital Wasteland. It is located just south of the Meresti trainyard.[1]
Layout[]
This location consists of a few ruined houses and a giant crater where a large building once was. The ruined houses are filled with minor loot and are surrounded by wrecked Chryslus Corvegas. One house has a carport that contains some extra loot and a lawnmower.
The crater contains barrels of radioactive waste, resulting in background radiation throughout the crater. A little north of the crater, a wrecked bus surrounded by a few skeletons can be found. There is an Average locked safe in the middle of the radioactive crater.
