William James Basie (August 21, 1904 - April 26, 1984), better known as Count Basie, was an American bandleader and pianist. He led his own orchestra for over 50 years and enjoyed success during the 1930s and 1940s. A number of musicians got their start playing in Basie's orchestra, and his musical style innovated in the genre of jazz and big band.

Fallout 76Edit

Count Basie and His Orchesta recorded the instrumental song "Jumpin' at the Woodside" in 1938, which plays on Appalachia Radio in Fallout 76.
