The following is based on Creation Club content. |
The cosmic cannon is a weapon in the Fallout 4 Creation Club content "Captain Cosmos."
Characteristics[]
The cosmic cannon is a pre-War weapon designed by the United States Space Administration and loaned to the Captain Cosmos TV crew for the shooting of their season finale. It was sent along with the CC-00 power armor, the Captain Cosmos space suit, and other USSA equipment, delivered by General Tucker on October 22nd to compensate for the accident that occurred with the ArcJet Systems journalist.[1] The crew was unaware that the weapon was functional and not a prop, leading to the injury of guest star Johnny Morton.
The weapon itself is quite odd in design, lacking any sort of coverage in the back, yet having a plastic covering at the front, with exposed wiring and a large stock at the back. For projectile types, the cannon can fire one of three variants of projectile: sonic, laser, and cryo.

Location[]
- Found at Hub 360, in the Hubris Television Studios section, next to Johnny Morton.
- Can also be bought for 20 Captain Cosmos toy boxes at a Captain Cosmos redemption machine.
Notes[]
- It has 3 different barrel mods that change both the type of projectile shot and the type of damage it deals.
- Its standard barrel fires an accurate laser similar to a laser rifle with a beam focuser, while its other 2 barrel mods change its projectiles to that of the Cryolator and Lorenzo's Artifact gun.
- Regardless of the mods attached, its required ammunition never changes from fusion cells. This can make it a preferable alternative to the Cryolator and Lorenzo's Artifact gun, both of which require rarer ammunition and are more difficult to obtain.
- It can be equipped with faction paint after the player character align themselves with a faction.
- With the sonic modification, the projectile can hit enemies behind walls.
