Corn is a consumable in Fallout 4.
Characteristics
Corn can be used to plant crops in settlements, which can be harvested for food or as a component for vim or vegetable starch. Like all crops except mutfruit, it provides .5 food per plant when assigned to a settler.
Variants
Locations
- Graygarden (south-southwest of Lexington) has a small source of corn (around 5 plants).
- Finch farm (near the eastern coast) has 11 plants.
- Somerville Place (south) has 15 plants.
- The Slog (northeast) has 24 plants.
- Covenant (east of Lexington) has 6 plants.
- Bunker Hill has 8 plants near the exterior wall, 2 left of the main gate, 6 near the brahmin pen.
Notes
Vegetable starch can be broken down into adhesive, a valuable component for crafting. This makes corn one of the most valuable crops to plant, along with mutfruit and tatos.
