Convince Sid to Kill Himself was going to be a quest in Van Buren, the canceled Fallout 3 by Black Isle Studios. It was located in the Bloomfield Space Center.[1]
Background[]
The player can talk Sid into committing suicide (Devil's Proxy).
Walkthrough[]
If the player discovers Sid's festering guilt about implanting the heart bomb in Bear, the Charisma Boy may try to get Sid to kill himself. A really good Charisma Boy can talk Sid into strapping some C4 onto his chest, run up to Kyle the Hook, and take him out, too.
Character type completion breakdown[]
- Combat Boy, Science Boy, Stealth Boy – Unless the player has a really good speech skill, it ain't gonna happen.
- Diplomacy Boy – This was made for him. Any good speech skill (besides Barter, of course) will get the optimum outcome. A great speech skill will get the bonus "suicide bomber" attack on Kyle.
