Condemned to Repeat It is a challenge and an achievement/trophy for the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Lonesome Road. To obtain this achievement/trophy, you must complete the quest, The Launch.

Behind the scenes
- The name of the achievement/trophy comes from a quote from George Santayana. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it," is found in his book Reason in Common Sense[1].
- The icon of this achievement/trophy is a reference to the ancient Roman gladiatorial games. The audience (or more commonly, the guest of honor) would give a thumbs up to determine that the gladiator would die (representing a sword), or tucking the thumb into their clenched hand (representing a sheathed sword) , this is commonly and incorrectly shown as thumbs up for life and thumbs down for death in films.
