Condemned to Repeat It is a challenge and an achievement/trophy for the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Lonesome Road. To obtain this achievement/trophy, you must complete the quest, The Launch.

- This is a reference to the first destruction the Courier brought down on the divide, as relayed by Ulysses.
Behind the scenes
- The name of the achievement/trophy comes from George Santayana, commonly misquoted as saying, "Those who do not know history are condemned to repeat it." The actual quote reads, "The one who does not remember history is bound to live through it again".
- The icon of this achievement/trophy is a reference to the ancient Roman gladiatorial games. The audience (or more commonly, the guest of honor) would give a thumbs up to determine that the gladiator would die (representing a sword), or tucking the thumb into their clenched hand (representing a sheathed sword) , this is commonly and incorrectly shown as thumbs up for life and thumbs down for death in films.
