For a cross-game overview of this perk, see Concentrated Fire. |
“Stay focused! This focus only stops when you run out of Action Points, so bolster APs to further enhance this perk. As you'll know how many APs it takes to fire off the bullets from your weapon, you should surmise that a heavier weapon, or one that fires slower and more damaging projectiles, is more likely to use up your Action Points more quickly and lessen the effectiveness of this perk. So play around with your favourite weapons to see which ones are most effective.”— Fallout 4 Vault Dweller's Survival Guide description
Concentrated Fire is a Perception perk in Fallout 4.
Effects[]
Taking ranks of this perk increases accuracy and damage in V.A.T.S. if consecutive attacks are used to target the same body part (arm, leg, chest, etc.).
Ranks[]
Rank | Requirements | Description | Form ID |
---|---|---|---|
1 | PER 10 | Stay Focused! In V.A.T.S. every attack on the same body part gains +10% accuracy. | 0004D890 |
2 | PER 10, LVL 26 | In V.A.T.S. every attack on the same body part gains +15% accuracy. | 001D2459 |
3 | PER 10, LVL 50 | In V.A.T.S. every attack on the same body part gains +20% accuracy and does 20% more damage. | 001D245A |
Notes[]
- As suggested by the perk name and description, Concentrated Fire does not affect melee, unarmed, or attacks using explosives, these being full-body attacks rather than targeted attacks on a particular body part.
- This perk pairs well with other perks that increase accuracy when using V.A.T.S., such as Awareness, Sniper, or Killshot.
- Rank 2 of the the perk actually grants 15% damage for shots after the first, and not additional accuracy as stated in-game.
- Despite Rank 2 and 3 being worded in a way that would suggest that *each* shot in V.A.T.S on the same body part would gain 15%/20% more damage than the last, instead the additional damage is applied to the 2nd shot and each subsequent shot at the same value, e.g if a weapon were to deal 100 damage to a specific body part for shot 1, it would deal 120 for shot 2, 120 for shot 3, and 120 for shot 4 etc.
- Accuracy displayed in V.A.T.S. cannot be higher than 95%.
