"Stallona" combat knife
A high-quality combat knife, the Stallona is from SharpWit, Inc. The edge of this blade is guaranteed sharp for over a decade of use!
Military issue combat knife
This military-issue cutting tool was designed for more than sawing rope.[Fallout 2d20 1] The combat knife tears through flesh, too, but it can't pierce strong armor.

There is no functional difference between the regular combat knife and the trench knife, only the visual touch of a spiked knuckle guard.
Behind the scenes
The name of the combat knife in the description of Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics is a reference to Sylvester Stallone's role in the Rambo series, where he plays an army veteran using a combat knife as a main weapon.

- Fallout 2d20 Rulebook p. 276: "For both fighting and for utility uses, soldiers—and those who seek to emulate soldiers—frequently carry knives. The Combat Knife found across the wastelands is normally of the same type as was issued to U.S. Army soldiers during the Great War, a single-edged blade with a clipped point. The weapon is lightweight and sturdy, and intended for heavy use."
