Variants[]
- Baseball - The generic baseball that can be scrapped for cork and leather, or used to craft baseball grenades.
- Signed baseball - A unique baseball signed by pre-War baseball players. It can be traded to Moe Cronin for a special caps reward during the quest Out in Left Field.
- Youth League baseball - A unique variant stored in the Jamaica Plain Town Hall basement treasure room.

- Found in book return terminals for 16 book return tokens at:
- On a shelf in Gladys' room, Sandy Coves Convalescent Home.
- In the Thompson boy's bedroom in The Institute (south side, first floor, left door).
- In one of the children's bedrooms in Vault 81. It is in the footlocker filled with toys at the end of the bed.
- Sometimes sold by a random encounter trader along with some other undamaged junk items.
- Sometimes sold by Deb in Bunker Hill.
