Coffin Willie is a particularly foul-smelling ghoul and the father of Lenny, found buried alive in a marked grave at Golgotha in Fallout 2.
Background[]
Described as an "old, stinky, crusty" ghoul with a foul stench,[1] Willie is the father of Lenny,[2] and both were born prior to the Great War.[3] After becoming ghoulified by the radiation, the two took refuge in Necropolis,[4] though both would fall out of contact for an unspecified amount of years.[2] In the months preceding 2241,[5] Willie made a quick stop to the city of New Reno for the prospect of "drinking n' whoring."[6][7]
The residents of the vice-ridden city, prejudiced against ghouls, responded by burying Willie alive in a marked grave in Golgotha,[6][7] where he has remained for months without any form of sustenance.[5][8] The city's last punitive action against the ghoul was to write on his headstone that he was the "dumbest son of a bitch ever to set foot in [the city]."[9]

- Rescue Coffin Willie: Lenny asks the Chosen One to dig up his father, Coffin Willie, from his grave at Golgotha.
Other interactions[]
- The Chosen One can dig him up from his grave with a shovel, without getting the Grave Digger reputation. Willie will then complain about how long it took to dig him up, and starts to walk away, muttering insults about his fate.
- Having Lenny in-party reveals that Willie was actually Lenny's father. However, he has nothing to say to his son, as he is not in the mood to be talking.
- After walking out of the map, he will disappear permanently, claiming that he has got places to go.
