The Coast Guard hat is a white hat with a dark band with "U.S. Coast Guard" written on it. When worn, the hat provides a single point of Perception.

Six Coast Guard hats can be found at the Coast Guard pier, sitting atop desks, cabinets and computer terminals. Two more can be found in a footlocker inside the crashed vertibird nearby, and a footlocker in a nearby sunken boat to the southwest.
Two can be found on the roof of the Greater Mass Blood Clinic worn by two dead scavengers.
One on display in Longneck Lukowski's Cannery.
One at a reservoir near Warwick homestead.
One on a desk at the Bar Harbor Museum.
