Civil Engineer armor is an armor set in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: Atlantic City update part two, America's Playground.
Background[]
A special set of armor used by Acee Munis to maintain order within the city and keep everything running. Worn over overalls, it protects the wearer against most dangers while doing their best to protect America's Playground against collapse.
Characteristics[]
Civil Engineer armor appears in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: Atlantic City update part two, America's Playground. It offers average damage resistance, as well as good energy and radiation resistance.
A complete set of this armor adds a 10% chance to deal 150 Fire damage over 3 seconds to melee attackers; additionally, all weapons will break 35% slower than normal.

Legendary effects[]
- Civil Engineer armor body pieces can be obtained with legendary effects.
- Armor can drop with legendary effects only after learning its plans.
- Legendary Civil Engineer armor starts to drop at level 50.
- Legendary armor pieces can be bought with legendary scrip from Purveyor Murmrgh or can be awarded as drop from events.
- Legendary enemies can drop Civil Engineer armor only after learning its plans.
- Civil Engineer armor effects can be re-rolled using legendary crafting feature.
- Civil Engineer armor can be traded/sold.
Locations[]
- Can be crafted at any armor workbench with the correct materials after learning the plans.
- After learning the plans, legendary variants have a chance to be obtained from Purveyor Murmrgh and as event rewards.
Notes[]
- The armor is affected by the Super Duper perk.
- Currently, the Left Arm and Leg are marked as "Heavy" size, with none of the other armors being marked.
- The helmet is not considered a part of set for Sizzling Style and Funky Duds legendary perks.
- Almost all craftable mods require 1 adhesive, 2 cloth and 2 leather.
- Civil Engineer armor, Brotherhood recon armor, and Secret Service armor are the only non-power armor sets in the game that can be modded with a jet pack. As a result, it's also the only tradeable non-power armor set in the game that can be modded with a jetpack.
- If modded with a jetpack and equipped by an ally, the jetpack will not appear.

The armor was referred to as "Muni armor" in the game files, before the current name was decided upon.
