The Citadel B ring is a section inside the Citadel.

The A ring continues to the B ring, where the barracks, the hospital, and "the Solar" are located.
The knights and paladins bunk in the barracks, where they both rest on the beds (which seem in pristine condition, unlike the ones found in the courtyard), as well as store their belongings in the footlockers. Alongside the barracks is Squire Maxson's bedroom, furnished with its own personal terminal, and is where the squire is typically located.
The hospital is a small room with a malfunctioning Mister Gutsy robot named Sawbones, the Citadel's medic, whose occasional defects harm instead of heal people.
The Solar is Elder Lyons' personal quarters, consisting of a living room and a bedroom, and contains Lyons' personal terminal.
