Chryslus Motors was a pre-War automobile manufacturer.

Background

Before the war, Chryslus manufactured fusion power vehicles and displayed their products and technology in an exhibit at the Museum of Technology.[1] The cars were popular before the war, entering the market in 2070 and selling out quickly due to plants having already been converted to serve the war effort.[Non-canon 1] The Corvega brand operated as a division of the company. Even post-War, the cars are sold and discussed by salespeople across the wastelands.[2][3]

Notes

Behind the scenes

  • The Cherry Bomb appears in Forza Motorsport 6, renamed as the "Chryslus Rocket 69." It was available for all Fallout 4 players. The new name of the car is a reference to a song of the same name "Rocket 69" which was released in 1954 and sung by Connie Allen. Rocket 69 is featured in Fallout 4 and is played on Diamond City Radio.
  • Concept art shows several products such as the Atomic V2, V6, V8, and VX engines.[Non-canon 2][Non-canon 3][Non-canon 4]
  • Real world promotional 1:18 scale models of the vehicles were produced by the Wand Company and sold on the Bethesda Gear Store.[Non-canon 5][Non-canon 6]
