Chris Jones is a developer who worked at Interplay Entertainment on Fallout and Fallout 2 as a senior programmer. Jones was later the CTO of Obsidian Entertainment during the development of Fallout: New Vegas. He also worked on the canceled Van Buren.
Biography[]
Chris Jones started his career in the industry at Interplay. While under Interplay's wing, he got a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and stayed at Interplay long enough to work on titles like Rags to Riches, Star Trek: Judgement Rites, Stonekeep, M.A.X., Star Trek: Starfleet Academy and Fallout. Along with Tim Cain, he was one of the lead programmers.
After Fallout and Fallout 2, Chris left Interplay to join Troika Games and helped in making Arcanum. After Arcanum, Chris returned to Black Isle Studios. In 2003, Chris left Black Isle Studios to become one of the founders and CTO of Obsidian Entertainment.
