Dabis is a Palestinian-American actress, writer, and director who has directed award-winning films and episodes of television series such as Ozark and Empire. She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for direction on Only Murders in the Building, the first Arab woman to receive such a nomination.[3] As an actress, she has appeared in the film May in the Summer (which she also directed), as well as the comedy series Mo.
