Chauncey was a tourist who visited the Pleasant Valley Ski Resort before the Great War.
Background[]
Chauncey was one of the many wealthy tourists stranded at Pleasant Valley after the Great War struck and transportation services were halted. He wrote a letter to Ludmilla noting that he wouldn't be able to make it home in time for the "Winter Festival" she planned to throw at their estate, but he expected that military aid would reach them eventually. Until then, he asked her to remember to feed their peacocks. His ultimate fate is unknown, including whether he eventually joined any of the raider gangs formed by the other tourist survivors.[1]
