The real danger in encountering them is that they use a toxin that can be quite deadly to the weak, old, and wounded unfortunate to encounter them. Cazadores are creatures found in the Mojave Wasteland.

Characteristics

Another mutant insectoid species, Cazadores appear to have their origin in Tarantula Hawk Wasps.

Although originally appearing in Fallout 1, in the time of Fallout New Vegas, their size increased to that of a basket ball. Regular Cazadores are about the same size as a human's torso. The real danger in encountering them is that they use a toxin that can be quite deadly to the weak, old, and wounded unfortunate to encounter them. The young and regular Cazadores are especially dangerous to those on higher difficulties, players of lower skill set, and/or players new to the game. Most beginner weapons do little damage to the Cazadores, though like other insects, they seem to be weak to Armor Piercing ammo and slugs.
