The cave outpost is an unmarked location in the Fallout 3 add-on Operation: Anchorage.
Layout[]
The outpost first appears to be a hallway, but actually has a missing wall that leads to the cave itself. Inside is a clearing where an unlucky paratrooper is victim to two Chinese soldiers gunning him down while he is hanging from his parachute. He drops his scoped Gauss rifle in the middle of the cave. In an alcove in the clearing, there is an ammo dispenser and some microfusion cells for the Gauss rifle. A path leading away from the clearing leads to a large pit on the left and a path leading up on the right. Going up the path, the cave transitions back into clean hallways. The hall leads to a room where the Lone Wanderer meets back up with Sergeant Montgomery again.
