Some of these are given the "appears in" icon for New Vegas and others do not. Should mention only places really get that icon? I mean it is weird seeing "appears in New Vegas" on the page for Enclave oil rig, the Boneyard, ect... just because someone briefly says something about it. I would edit them out but one of the pages I saw it was an admin doing it, so what is the rule on this? --Pongsifu 19:07, November 19, 2010 (UTC)

The game icons are meant to convey which games the information in the article is based on (which does not necessarily correspond to appearances of the subject), so it's fine for those icons to be there. Hope that clears up the confusion :) -- Porter21 (talk) 19:39, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
  • Ah, I see. But wouldn't the mention of the Enclave oil Rig (for example) need to add new information to merit that? I guess the info that it is mentioned in a game is info in itself. --Pongsifu 19:15, November 20, 2010 (UTC)
I wouldn't put the icon on articles about locations, characters, etc. from previous games that are only mentioned in FNV, only to ones first mentioned in FNV. Ausir(talk) 19:19, November 20, 2010 (UTC)
