"Carmen" was a member of a group of Spanish-speaking survivors that took refuge in Zion Canyon in 2095.[1]
Background[]
All known information about "Carmen" comes from the journal entries of Randall Clark, who observed her group in secret after it arrived in Zion Canyon on September 20, 2095; he assumed they were from Mexico after hearing them speak Spanish.[1] It is also unclear if "Carmen" was her real name or merely a nickname used to identify her by Clark.
"Carmen," along with "Elena" and five children, were the last survivors of the refugees after their group was attacked by an expedition of Vault 22 dwellers on February 11, 2096. They were imprisoned in a pen at the Vault 22 dwellers' camp the following day. Clark attempted to rescue them on February 14, only to find that they had been killed and eaten by the Vault dwellers.[2]
