Caravan lunch is a consumable item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
The caravan lunch is a collection of food items with the harmful radiation removed. It is often eaten by caravan merchants, due to the filling nature of the food and preparation simplicity. In hardcore mode, this is the most filling food (on par with MREs) in the game, although it is comparatively heavy.

Notes[]
- Prior to patch 1.2.0.31x, caravan lunches required a packet of RadAway to craft, and reduced radiation by 4 for 10 seconds in addition to healing hunger, thirst, and HP.
- In the Dead Money add-on, the caravan lunch is the only craftable food item, since it is the only item made entirely from Old World materials. Though lunchboxes are rare, this still makes it a valuable item for treating starvation in Hardcore mode.
- The caravan lunch is worth less than the crafting components used to make it.
- The caravan lunch heals hunger and thirst better than eating each of its components on their own.
