Calmex is a consumable item in Fallout 4.

Background

Calmex is believed by many to be a prewar light tranquilizer for veterinarian purposes. Despite these rumors that this medicine is for animals, the value of it is exceptional due to its prewar quality.

This tranquilizer doesn't work as a painkiller when administered to humans. However, it still carries a high enough dosage to cause a kind of head high that boosts some survival senses that are ordinarily dulled by reasoning. ^{[citation needed]}
