Transcript[edit | edit source]

Like I told you man. I don't fucking know where it came from. But it freaks the boys out. Some story from a while back, 'bout a stranger with no name.
Just...get rid of the damn thing. Ain't no good gonna come from keeping it around. Besides, if it is.. his. Maybe he'll come back for it. Comprende?

Notes[edit | edit source]

This holotape is marked as owned, meaning stealing it can turn Clover and/or slavers hostile.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

  • This is a reference to the "One Man, and a Crate of Puppets" webcomic on Penny Arcade, where the vault experiment was to use one man and a box of puppets. The man, later known as the Puppet Man, eventually surfaced from the vault and was captured by slavers and bound up with the Vault Boy puppet. Convinced that the puppet was alive, he warned the slavers that "He's seriously crazy." and that "He's killed before." They apparently did not believe him, as the next comic shows the taider that caught them warning the others about the Puppet Man (the only time this nickname was used in the comic). However, this warning comes too late, as Puppet Man slaughters each one.
  • The raider in this holodisk was voiced by James Lewis.
