The budding apothecary is a workshop object in Fallout 76, introduced in the Once in a Blue Moon update.

The budding apothecary is a machine used by the Pioneer Scouts that dispenses various flora. It can hold a maximum of 4 items. The apothecary drops one of the following flora items every 10 minutes, 12 seconds, with a 5.56% chance to collect each of the following:
Only one budding apothecary can be built per C.A.M.P. or workshop.

The budding apothecary can only be built once purchased from the Atomic Shop for 
700. It is also included in the Pioneer Summer CAMP Bundle.
Notes[]
- The budding apothecary is the only source of black bloodleaf in the game. Prior to this, it existed in the files but went unused.
- It is also useful as a source of melon bloom, which otherwise only spawns rarely in lunch pails, coolers, and among the inventories of some vendors.
