Crafting

Weapon modifications will modify an existing weapon, and any modifications previously equipped on the weapon will be destroyed, not unequipped. Loose mods cannot be crafted. For modifications unlocked through scrapping, the corresponding weapon must be scrapped in order to learn how to craft it.

  • Loose mods may randomly be found in the following regions:
    • The Forest (10mm submachine gun, hunting rifle, laser gun, pipe gun and pump action shotgun)
    • Ash Heap (Assault rifle, combat rifle, Gauss rifle, lever action rifle and ultracite laser gun)
    • Toxic Valley (10mm submachine gun, double-barrel shotgun, lever action rifle and pipe gun)
    • Savage Divide (Assault rifle, combat rifle, double-barrel shotgun, Gauss rifle, lever action rifle, radium rifle and ultracite laser gun)
    • The Mire (Assault rifle, combat rifle, Gauss rifle, radium rifle and ultracite laser gun)
    • Cranberry Bog (Gauss rifle and radium rifle)
  • Loose mods may also be for sale from vendors.

Notes

  • The loose mod for the double-barrel shotgun is named bruising short stock.
  • The loose mod for the pipe gun is named bruising full stock, not to be confused with the craftable mod of the same name for the pipe revolver.
  • The loose mod for the regular laser gun is named bruising grip, not to be confused with the craftable mod of the same name.
